The requirement by import and export clients to have that personal touch from their service providers led to the establishment of All Procurement & Logistics for Africa in 2008.

The member has more than 14 years of Procurement and Logistics experience, and experience with exports into Africa from South Africa as well as from Global suppliers.
We use only the best service providers in the industry to handle all our import and export related shipments.

In-house Procurement and Freight Logistics consultant will handle all our clients Procurement and Logistics needs.

Company Background

All Procurement and Logistics for Africa cc was established in April of 2008 to handle all import and export requirements as well as a procurement service for various clients. The owner Pierre Smit was approached by a few clients whom at that stage were importing valves and various other goods from China , Korea , Italy , India , Germany and Turkey to handle all their import and export related shipments on an ex-works basis to South Africa.

All Procurement and Logistics for Africa cc saw an opportunity to provide these clients with a freight and logistics service as per their requirements as a consultant. The business grew from one client to close to 50 clients; the company also does procurement for a refined fuel storage facility which is based in Lagos, Nigeria . The company also supplies a client with Bitumen in drums who sells these types of products to the road construction and maintenance industry in Malawi .

Pierre 's freight and logistics experience dates back from being a teenager (1993) and working at Johannesburg International Airport Cargo section on holidays for pocket money. Pierre followed a career in freight and logistics which started with Eagle Freight, Cargo Service Centre, British Airways World Cargo, Afgri Logistics and Energem Petroleum Corporation Ltd. Pierre was always involved on the freight and logistics side for his employers. Pierre also had good exposure in African markets and has vast experience within this field.
